Union Bank of India Partners with Infosys Finacle to Offer WhatsApp Banking Services

Infosys Endgame100% subsidiary of Infosys and Union Bank of India partners to offer WhatsApp banking services to bank customers.

This development followed through the successful implementation of Finacle Conversational Banking, Finacle Remote Banker and Finacle Mobile Teller solutions, according to the statement.

The lender’s new service is called Union Virtual Connect (UVConn) and promises to offer its retail customers personalized everyday banking services, at the time, place and in seven languages ​​of their choice.

The bank said that with Finacle, it was also able to transform its banking experience into a branch, optimizing branch and teller performance, minimizing queues, enabling mobility of account managers and improving operational efficiency.

With this, Union Bank customers can now interact with the bank on its official WhatsApp number, through the end-to-end encrypted WhatsApp messaging interface, from their registered mobile numbers with additional levels of authentication.
