Amalie Arena, Party City and Suncoast Credit Union held job fairs on Tuesday

Need a job? You are lucky. A handful of local and national businesses are holding hiring events on Tuesday, with the goal of filling hundreds of positions by offering perks like signing vouchers and employee discounts.

Vinik Sports Group to host part-time hiring fair at Amalie Arena and Yuengling Center from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Yuengling Center, 12499 USF Bull Run Drive on the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida . Both arenas are looking for workers at concerts and other events, with openings in security, ticketing, customer service, maintenance, parking and more. Applicants are requested to dress professionally, wear a mask, and bring three copies of their curriculum vitae and written references. Suncoast Credit Union will be hosting a drive-through career fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at 6801 E Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa. The credit union aims to hire more than 100 workers for its service and call centers, with those hired at the fair eligible for up to $ 750 in signing bonuses. Applicants must bring several copies of their curriculum vitae; they will meet potential managers from inside their cars. And as Halloween approaches, Party City is looking for 17,000 additional employees to fill additional shifts nationwide. The Tampa Bay locations will host hiring events from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Saturday.
